Edwards Lifesciences Accounting Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

Accounting and tax:

• G/L and AR ledger entry and follow up

• cash collection

• AP supervision – creation of supplier requests, PO, balance confirmation with suppliers

• control and maintain accruals in accordance to statutory and USGAP

• F/A management (control, tracking, depreciation etc)

• control and track marketing events cost with the Businesses

• monthly and quarterly BS reconciliations

• VAT and intrastate reporting

• CIT preparation

• reports to the National Bank of Poland and Statistical Office

Required Education/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in economics

  • English language– advanced knowledge both spoken and written (need for communication with foreign branches and customers)

  • Financial Educational background, minimum of 3 years experience in a financial position

  • Accounting and tax background (experience in monthly closing, active participation in preparation of intrastat and vat returns, cooperation with auditors)

  • Knowledge of Polish VAT and CIT regulations as well as Polish Accounting Act

  • Good Excel knowledge

  • Strong analytical skill set

  • Proactivity and problem solving orientation

  • Strong team spirit

  • “Can Do” attitude

  • Able to work in a fast developing and demanding environment
