Job Description

Responsible for the support of both clinical and financial performance measures of an assigned BU within given territory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and attend THV implants in partnership with input from sales team members (e.g., Territory Manager/ Senior Territory Manager) including providing clinical reports and forecasts and leveraging clinical papers/data to assist in the sales process to educate and deliver innovative solutions to the customer

  • Identify business opportunities, develop value-added sales strategies, and provide information to sales team members (e.g., Territory Manager/ Senior Territory Manager)

  • Work with referrers to understand patient pathways & educate on therapy options

  • Perform analysis and obtain clinical and profitability targets communicated through Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

  • Maintain CRM and implant management database including customer contact details and strategic conversations, follow up items and required actions within assigned timeframe

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of Customer Experience Reports (CER’s) to Quality – (all CER’s need to be reported within 24hrs from the time the Edwards employee is made aware)

  • Train staff (e.g., clinical and non-clinical), provide resources to assist clinicians to screen and treat appropriate patients, and educate referring specialists (e.g., general cardiologists, geriatricians, physicians) around structural heart disease and treatment options

  • Develop/maintain relationships with KOLs and centres of excellence to promote Edwards’ leading position in the market and broaden and enhance the current list of KOL’s within the assigned territory.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (e.g., Tertiary or equivalent) in related field required

Additional Skills:

  • Certification in MTAA/MTANZ Operating Theatre Protocols

  • 3 years of previously related work experience required

  • Experience developing and implementing education projects

  • Experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry preferred

  • Good organizational and project management skills

  • Good computer skills in MS Office Suite

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills

  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to appropriate SOPs (e.g., Regulatory Affairs, Physician Training and Device Preparation.)

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to work in a team environment with global marketing team and cross functional partners

  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
