Edwards Lifesciences Product Manager - Transcatheter Mitral Therapies - Germany in Unterschleissheim, Germany

Role Purpose

Based in Germany, the Product manger will be responsible for supporting the commercialization efforts of new mitral & tricuspid therapies in the German market reporting to the Sr Marketing Manger for therapy development Product manager will be responsible for creating marketing material, providing product training to field staff as well as developing and executing marketing initiatives to drive therapy adoption and market share gain. The Product Manager will also build a strong network across German customers and provide in-depth understanding of the German market dynamics and needs.

Job Functions

  • Support the therapy initiave planning and execution of new mitral & tricuspid therapies in Germany.

  • Support the execution of integrated multi-channel marketing plan to effectively differentiate Edwards new mitral & tricuspid therapies vs other transcatheter therapies and drive rapid product adoption and market share gain.

  • Demonstrate product functionality accurately and proficiently; provide presentations about mitral & tricuspid disease, therapy options and therapy specifications and benefits to internal and external stakeholders

  • Be a strong business partner to the commercial organization and support the success of the field team by understanding needs and developing actionable plans to fulfill those needs

  • Continuously expand knowledge of mitral & tricuspid valve disease and existing and new therapies

  • Gather business intelligence and support market research where needed

  • Create proactive & reactive competitive rebuttals, objection handlers and supportive collaterals to achieve or exceed the business goals.

  • Support clear customer segmentation and account targeting strategies and tactics

  • Establish effective communication channel with field staff to quickly drive key selling messages and build internal momentum

  • Support customer meetings, training meetings (internal and external) and/or other relevant meetings.

  • Report, track and measure programs back to European Leadership Team

  • Use and drive the usage of SFDC and promote data entry accuracy amongst field team

  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned timeframe

QualificationsEducation/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with 5 years of work experience

  • or Master's Degree or equivalent with 3 years of work experience.

  • Experience working in marketing in the healthcare industry

  • Native German and advanced English are required

Required Skills

  • Solid working experience and substantial knowledge of marketing concepts and principles, with one or more product launches already executed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills

  • Excellent problem-solving , critical thinking, and investigative skills

  • Substantial understanding in tracking and interpreting market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics.

  • Ability to forecast product lines for short-term and long-term accuracy based on market development, sales trends, competition and changing market dynamics.

  • Possess a fundamental clinical knowledge related to hospital environment, clinical practice and reimbursement policies

  • Team-player with ability to build cross-functional and multi-regional relationships

  • Strategic mindset combined with ability to execute

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, action and results oriented
