Edwards Lifesciences Sr. Manager, Business Excellence Gr. in Tokyo, Japan

-Owns one or more Project Management Office (PMO) . Identify operational inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement activities

-Manages large scale to enterprise-wide projects within program

-Facilitates the creation and approval of business cases within the program, and coordinates the sharing and prioritization of resources among projects

-Develops a high-level milestone plan for the program and manages program change in accordance with the change management plan to control scope, quality, schedule, cost, and contracts

-Executes program plans (quality, risk, communication, staffing, etc.) and communicate program status and data in order to maintain accurate and current program information for the use of stakeholders

-Serves as a project and program management subject matter expert , including guiding and mentoring project managers (if applicable); sourcing and directing contract resources tied to projects within the program; and develops expertise in a business process, professional discipline, market or product

-Establishes and maintains program stakeholder relationships (including APAC counterparts), expectations, and communications, both internal and external to the organization

-Obtains approval for the program and actively manages program benefits and issues in partnership with IT business partner

Education and Experience:

-Bachelor's Degree in in related field experience in managing large to midsize projects and/or programs of increasing complexity Required

-Demonstrated track record in people management Required

-Experience working in a medical device indusry Preferred

Additional Skills:

• Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and related project management tools

• Demonstrated leadership in driving change within a matrixed environment

• Proven successful project management leadership skills

• Excellent English skills

• Proven ability to work with cross-functional and/or matrixed teams and to articulately train technical subject matters

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

• Expert understanding of business excellence procedures while addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
