Edwards Lifesciences Marketing Manager, Therapy Development - Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies for JAPAC in Tokyo, Japan

  • Develop comprehensive market development launch plans that can identify barriers and drivers for therapy adoption of existing and emerging TMTT therapies in the JAPAC region; will involve high level of collaboration with business unit and country-level stakeholders and JAPAC leadership

  • Remains current on market development areas of expertise, including market access, product knowledge, country-specific patient adoption pathways and clinical trends

  • Support the execution of a major product and/or multiple market launches, campaigns, programs, or initiatives in collaboration with regional partners as appropriate; assists sales support/marketing staff members in activities such as sales promotion, training, and market research in planning and executing special projects

  • Support long-range planning of portfolio and related investments as it related to market development

  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL) and other external stakeholders to help inform market development plans and understand current market and clinical environment

Required skills

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to work in highly matrixed organizations managing multiple internal stakeholders’ needs

  • Ability to conduct deep dive market assessments and understand challenges across a multi-disciplinary fields (e.g. marketing, market access, therapy guidelines, etc.)

  • Possess strong clinical knowledge, experience and knowledge of the clinical areas where Edwards' products are used or intended to be used, understand the purchasing process and challenges for product adoption in complex healthcare networks

  • Ability to forecast product lines for short-term and long-term accuracy based on market development, sales trends, competition and changing market dynamics.

  • Highly Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills

  • Strong Aptitude in creative problem-solving

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Additional foreign language such as Japanese or Mandarin (highly preferred, but not necessary)
