Edwards Lifesciences Senior Manager - Business Excellence in Shannon, Ireland

Oversee the coordination, deployment and implementation assigned Business Excellence projects/systems from conception to completion in collaboration with functional departments to successfully develop and assure implementation, definition and diffusion of objectives, strategies, actions (tactics) plans, and its execution. Support/facilitate the development of Lean Six Sigma skills and the desired Culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively lead strategic and complex or enterprise-wide Lean/Six Sigma/NPD projects/systems and workshops (e.g. Edwards production system, OpEx Maturity Index, Value Improvement Projects (VIP) program)

• Provide input and lead the facilitation of Business Excellence (BEx) and/or Operations strategy for an assigned location, function, and/or facility may need to facilitate Operations strategy

• Consistently lead the deployment, training, execution, and follow through of strategic and complex or enterprise-wide lean and/or Six Sigma programs

• Collaboratively develop standard Lean/Six Sigma/NPD training programs and materials for the company

• Serve as a Business Excellence subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to Belt candidates, coaching team members and influencing stakeholders

• Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in in related field , 12 years years experience of hands on experience managing large to midsize projects and/or programs of increasing complexity Required and

Experience in driving change within a matrixed environment Required

Master's Degree or equivalent Preferred

Additional Skills:

• Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and related project management tools

• Excellent facilitation and time management skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Ability to work well with cross-functional and/or matrixed teams and articulately train complex and technical subject matters

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with highly effective interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives across the organization

• Ability to influence stakeholders

• Recognized expert with broad-based advanced knowledge of all aspects of area of work in the organization

• Expert understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to lean and/or Six Sigma

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change

• Strong experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management and executive stakeholders

• Experience within a regulated environment

• Experience in facilitating Strategic plan and goal deployment

• Experience in deploying Operating/Productions systems

• Financial acumen

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Must be able to work in a team environment, including interactions with higher, equivalent and lower level internal and external representatives concerning projects, area decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or driving contractual clarifications

• Ability to lead meetings with external representatives

• Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
