Edwards Lifesciences Senior Specialist , Talent Acquisitions in Shanghai, China

Identifying and attracting talents for vacancies across the EMEA region. Advise management, develop and facilitate programs to enable Edwards to meet talent acquisition needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the recruitment cycle for assigned vacancies accross the entire EMEAC region, including senior level positions

o Partner with hiring managers to set recruitment process planning and expectations (key requirements and competencies, sourcing strategy, recruitment strategy etc.)

o Open and post vacancies in the internal Applicant Tracking System (TALEO) and other job boards

o Lead in the development of multiple talent sourcing options for both active and passive candidates, utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify candidates (e.g., cold calling, job boards, advertising, database and internet searches, and networking and referrals, and anticipate organization needs by ensuring an ongoing talent pool)

o Manage relationship with recruitment agencies and negotiate terms and conditions to make sure Edwards needs have been clearly identified and met

o Performs candidate screening (review resumes, phone calls, competency based interviews), identifying position matching, availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs etc.

o Coordinate candidate’s interview calendar and travel arrangements with hiring manager and other stakeholders involved in the recruitment project

o Identify and execute the most appropriate assessment tests for any defined position

o Collaborate with Country HR, HRBPs and hiring managers to conduct complex offer negotiations and finalize the hiring process

• Optimize and lead strategic recruiting activities and talent acquisition projects, processes and programs to fulfill business needs and organizational priorities

• Establish direction and manage vendor services to ensure services are in keeping with expected service levels, assuring that contracted work is fulfilled, and identifying issues for escalation

• Ensure on-going process improvement and drive implementation of most cost effective/highest value third-party contracts to support talent acquisition

• Develop content on recruitment/talent acquisition processes and provide training to stakeholders

• Execute and drive adaptation of recruitment projects and programs (e.g., career fairs, recruiting events, relocation, and immigration)

• Provide coaching and guidance to lower level talent acquisition team members

• Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in in related field , 5 years years experience previous related talent acquisition experience Required

Additional Skills:

• Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and ATS systems (e.g., Taleo)

• Provide experience in utilizing advanced sourcing skills and systems (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional network media)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating, consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence change

• Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing more complex sections of projects

• Able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and requirements relevant to talent acquisition

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of industry related terminology

• Good leadership skills and ability to influence change

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects

• Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations

• Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
