Edwards Lifesciences Finance Analyst in Salt Lake City, Utah

Edwards Lifesciences is searching for a Finance Analyst to support our operations team located in Draper, Utah. The Finance Analyst, Draper Operations will provide budget support and financial management of Capital Investments for our Draper, Utah site in addition to tracking and reconciling all balance sheet accounts, including Site Inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Financial owner of the Inventory excess and obsolete(E&O) process for the Site. Partner with supply chain to prepare and support the quarterly reserves.

  • Manage the month-end close process (Fixed asset accounting, balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entries and other month-end schedules)

  • Conduct on-going financial analysis of Capital Spend, Inventory and volume; be able to explain trends and exceptions to management

  • Analyze ROI (Return on Investment) of expenditures for manufacturing projects, identify operational implications, and recommend improvements.

  • Partner with department managers to actively manage capital budgets and approval submissions

  • Aid the development of the annual operating plan, forecast, & the strategic plan

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Education/Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business or Analytics

  • Minimum of three years (or one year with a Master's) of Finance/Accounting experience

  • Cost Accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing environment experience


  • Experience with large ERP system, JDE experience a plus
