Edwards Lifesciences Associate Manager, Data Analytics in Salt Lake City, Utah

This is an exciting opportunity for a data-mind set Associate Manager to strategically analyze operational data and provide insights and solutions for improving the effectiveness and efficiencies of business processes/operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Business Units, Functions and Regions to understand business challenges, problems and opportunities. Design, develop and implement solutions, both technical (e.g., Metrics Dashboards, Meta-data additions to enhance reporting and analytics) and non-technical (e.g., ECR process changes, simplified workflow changes).

  • Perform complex data analysis and identify opportunities to improve training, processes, systems and product data quality.

  • Partner with IT and other software development partners to architect, drive design, implement operational metrics dashboards for Business Units, Functions and Regions/Plants. Continually improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.

  • Lead the design, development, deployment and on-going improvement of the portals (e.g., Ignite PLM, JDE/JDA) and dashboards by partnering with stakeholders.

  • Perform software validation and/or testing requirements and activities.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with combined 8 years of experience in operations, architecting, developing and deploying business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree is preferred.

  • Experience working in large manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Proven successful project management skills.

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel, Global Supply Chain, and relational databases systems.

  • Experience in business systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, DRP).

  • Ability to develop compliance processes and procedures.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.

  • Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

  • Extensive understanding of supply chain operations.

  • Extensive understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interacts with team members and other managers and may include suppliers, vendors and/or customers.
