Edwards Lifesciences Supply Chain Senior Project Manager in Prague, Czech Republic
Key Responsibilities:
Manage strategic to enterprise-wide programs and/or portfolio:
Facilitate the creation and approval of complex business cases within the program, and coordinates the sharing of resources among projects
Establish, maintain, and influence program stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications, both internal and external to the organization
Develop a high-level intergraded milestone plan for the program and manages program change in accordance with the change management plan to control scope, quality, schedule, cost, and contracts.
Execute program plans (quality, risk, communication, staffing, etc.) and captures and communicate program status and data in order to maintain accurate and current program information for the use of stakeholders
Serve as a subject matter expert in project and program management, including guiding and mentoring project managers; sourcing and directing contract resources tied to projects within the program; and develop expertise in a business process, professional discipline, market or product partnership with Corporate Logistics function for issuance and/or implementation of regional and global contracts
Optimize resource allocation of portfolio in partnership with functional leaders across divisions/site
Own one or more Project Management Office (PMO) continuous improvement activities
Build project management capabilities across divisions/site
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in related field with 5-10 years’ experience in Managing large to midsize projects in Supply Chain.
Project Management Professional or equivalent certification
Additional Skills:
Proven expertise in usage of MS Project or other Project Management tools.
Excellent documentation and communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with the ability to drive results
Comfortable engaging with all levels of Management including Regional and Global leadership
Ability to think global & regional
Clear and concise communicator able to build a compelling vision or direction
Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent understanding and work experience with project budgets and financial management
