Supply Chain Demand Planner EMEA
Temporary role for 6 with option to extend to-12 months.
We are searching for a talented Demand Planner to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.
To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies.
Key areas of Responsibility
Sales and Operations Planning
Generate Demand forecast based on historical data, statistical models, market trends, special offers and tenders.
Maintains Forecast in horizon of 12-24 months and Sales, consignment and sample stripes as required.
Reconcile Demand Forecast with Sales and Financial forecasts and new product launch plans.
Prepare and lead regional S&OP meetings to review assumptions and proposed changes in Demand forecast and to sign off with regional stakeholders.
Participate in global Demand consensus meeting to update on changes in Demand forecast, NPI and Phase out plans.
Prepare the Excess & Obsolete inventory monthly reserve.
Prepare & participate quarterly to the budget cycles (Inventory, E&O).
Maintains relation with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Business Operations to understand the demand forecasting drivers.
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
Fluent in English – written & oral
Proven expertise in MS Excel and APS environment (JDA, APO,...)
Experience working in ERP (JDE preferably)
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Result oriented. Accurate.
Advanced skills in data analysis utilizing MS Excel and possibly QlikView
Capability to work independently and in a geographically dispersed team
