MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS
Manages a team of territory/account managers and field clinical specialists across a defined region to achieve financial goals. Responsibilities encompass management and coaching of the team, supporting team in direct sales activities and driving business with own customers.
Manages, coaches and motivates a team of territory/account managers and field clinical specialists to ensure achievement of sales targets within assigned territories utilizing in-depth understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business.
Promotes and sells product portfolio and solutions directly to current and new customers while building and utilizing the relationships with customers in assigned areas.
Supports sales activities of territory/account managers and field clinical specialists in complex selling situations while executing short-term plans for the assigned areas.
Supports the Business Unit manager in developing Strategic Plans, Sales Forecasting, and Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for the region.
Bachelor's Degree in in related field
Progressive Sales Experience Required3 to 5 years of medical devices industry experience preferred
Sales Management experience strongly preferred
Cardiovascular med device industry experience strongly preferred
Understand business unit direction, target and the competitive landscape of assigned areas
Applies sales experience to sales target achievements
Understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
Builds and utilizes the relationships with customers in assigned areas
Seen as resource to customers in developing innovative, mutually beneficial partnerships and solutions
Ability to travel up to 20% nationally and internationally
