Edwards Lifesciences Supply Chain Business Partner in Nyon, Switzerland
Plan and direct all Demand Planning strategic activities for assigned Commercial Business Unit(s) which include responsibility for providing accurate supply forecast of products of high complexity to the BU Commercial team and ensure customer service levels meet corporate objectives within inventory guidelines of critical financial relevance. Will ensure processes exist to execute the strategic plan for Region (GSC + BU) while meeting customer needs (e.g., achieving customer fill rates, supporting new product launches and product development. Direct team members and collaborate with planning and warehousing through the end to end value stream while representing Supply chain in the S&OP process.
Identify appropriate projects and provide direction for complex activities (e.g., product launch/transitions, strategic operational plan development) of significant business impact across multiple EU countries, with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables and meeting GSC and EMEAC Commercial business objectives and strategy. Will develop and lead the implementation of broad and more complex supply chain strategies which may include negotiations with internal and external parties.
Lead in identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities (e.g. business continuity plans, cost optimization, process standardization, etc.). Take leadership in determining risk and developing plans and strategies to mitigate/eliminate such risks. Provide alternative solutions, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrixed teams. Provide direction and communication to other business partners. Identify, validate and implement processes (e.g., supply planning, demand planning, capacity planning and S&OP) in multiple complex areas of responsibility that align with key business strategies and/or Global Planning strategies .
Drive a value stream mindset and culture of continuous improvement based on lean and Six Sigma principles and EW Production System (EPS).
Partner with GSC and Plant Planning, Sourcing, and Logistics and Supplier Quality organizations for direct and indirect procurement needs, supplier management expectations, and drive standardized processes and systems. Collaborate with network leadership to develop operational strategy. Partner with cross-functional groups/resources to achieve tactical execution of business objectives.
Will serve as the GPS&L Region representative in corresponding BU Exec S&OP process
