Edwards Lifesciences Senior Scientific Communications Manager in Nyon, Switzerland
The Scientific Communication Senior Manager will
Lead scientific communications strategy or other study deep dive for the region, including Hot Ff The Press and Cite the Publication communication
Define podium scientific agenda strategy across the region
Partner with Global Marketing and Global Med Affairs on Edwards Symposium agenda alignment related to all Region based International Scientific Meetings
Lead the development and communication of Sessions of Interest for THV LT prior to all major International Scientific Meetings based in the EU region
Lead regional Evidence Communication Committee
Attend major congresses and local ones while leading scientific reports
Ensure approval of external customer facing scientific communication decks
Close collaboration with clinical affairs, medical affairs and public affairs on strategic initiatives
Develop partnership with KOL for scientific content creation and briefing
Support creation of impactful material for digital channel used for therapy development
Closely work with the marketing regional team to implement marketing strategy and tactics
Moderation of scientific round table around KOLs and experts
Manage the EMEACLA scientific communication team
Provide recommendations to leadership team on strategic communication on upcoming evidence
The Scientific Communication Senior Manager will report to EMEACLA Sr Marketing Director THV.
Job Functions
Lead the development of relevant material to leverage product differentiation and KOL briefing using clinical data.
Train new and existing field team tactics on the country level, being example of execution standards and time and quality of implementation.
Work closely with economic value, therapy development, digital and product portfolio team to maximize clinical differentiation program.
Partner with KOLs and develops high quality relations with other health care professionals through participation in physician organizations, conventions, sales calls and other customer.
Support local needs of the commercial and clinical teams in alignment with the marketing plan, including delivering field training regarding clinical marketing activities.
Support as needed tender development and value reimbursement dossier.
Maintain up-to-date scientific evidence knowledge and understanding using PubMed and QOSA searches.
Required Education/Skills:
PHD degree or equivalent in biomedical engineering or scientific area.
MBA and / or additional Healthcare related (scientific or engineering) post-graduate degree a plus.
English proficiency and local languages are required

Required Experience:
10+ years’ experience in the healthcare industry.Med Tech experience strongly preferred. Interventional cardiology experience strongly preferred.
5+ years’ professional International experience in a scientific function
Experience in scientific data management and communication including ad board organization
