Edwards Lifesciences Sr Manager, Program Management in Irvine, California
As the Sr Manager, Program Management you will be instrumental for the Global Supply Chain, Critical Care portfolio development. You will be the owner of multiple large-scale projects, responsible for their successful completion within established schedule, scope, financial and quality objectives.
Be part of the Operations strategy development. Provide support to project portfolio development and prioritization.
Manage large scope projects from initiation, planning, execution to control, and closing phases.
Create and manage project business case, charter, schedule, budget, resources and assumptions.
Oversee and mitigate project risks and issues. Identify and implement counter measures.
Manage and control changes from original scope.
Serve as conduit between project/team members in all cross-functional and global groups.
Communicate to stakeholders on project status & influence strategy decisions. (COO level)
Follow & perfect GSC project management process. Train & mentor team members.
A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field is required. Advanced degree desired.
Minimum 12 years experiences in Project Management, Supply Chain or Engineering in an FDA regulated environment is required.
A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
Proven track record in managing multiple complex, large-scale projects with the ability to prioritize.
Working experience in managing resources and budget.
Financial background & business case experience highly desired.
Experience with regulatory agency guidelines for medical device is highly desired.
Strong analytical and data driven problem solving skills.

Ability to identify & escalate risk to appropriate levels of management in the organization.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (to COO level).
Ability to influence and build strong relationships.
