Edwards Lifesciences Sr. HR Manager, Corporate Wellness in Irvine, California
Our Benefits and Wellness Team serves as a catalyst in delivering solutions that support employee overall health. The Sr. HR Manager, Corporate Wellness will play an integral role in the development, execution and on-going assessment of our Wellness strategy and program design. Responsibilities:
Develop and design overarching global as well as specific wellness programs and projects for regions/locations, with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables including identifying gaps, developing program communications roadmap, recommending solutions and providing direction and guidance to HRS functional leads on implementation
Oversee onsite clinic programming and vendor management; ensuring it continues to meet employee needs and population health goals
Develop and manage wellness dashboards including metrics on trends, performance, and ROI (return on investment)
Provide strategy for global wellness budget and recommendations for wellness budget investment across the globe to ensure funds are utilized to meet goals and deliverables
Develop and design, in partnership with local HR, Fitness Center programming for all onsite Fitness Center locations
Select and manage wellness vendors to ensure vendor performance and maximize investment
Establish key relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the globe
Identify opportunities for Total Wellness re-branding; oversee adoption of the new branding on a go forward basis
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, emerging technologies, knowledge share (e.g., present in conferences, association meetings), and build a wellness network
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of benefits and corporate wellness experience.
8+ years of wellness or population health experience
7+ years of wellness program design experience
5+ years of leadership experience, including managing direct reports. Demonstrated ability to manage teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations.
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of benefits and wellness to the business
Expert understanding of related aspects of benefits and wellness processes and/or systems
Expert understanding of benefits and wellness procedures while identifying applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems
Experience developing communications to promote and market wellness program offerings
Preferred Qualifications:
Corporate wellness or population health experience within a global organization
Certification in related discipline (PMP, Registered Dietician, etc.)
Proven successful project management skills
Ability to represent leadership on projects within multiple areas, interfacing with project managers, benefits team and cross-functional and global teams
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills, with ability to drive achievement of objectives
