Job Description
Edwards Lifesciences has a new Senior Analyst, Product Data Steward opening at our Irvine campus. This role is focused on product data governance and will play a key role in operationalizing our data operations process.
Key Responsibilities:
Create processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Master Data Management and governance in Supply Chain.
Strategize and create Master Data Management (MDM) Roadmap to improve Data Operations process.
Create workflow for product data management across supply chain functions.
Accountable for defining data standards, such as Site, Plant, Status, Product Planning codes, Hierarchy, and etc.
Monitor and incorporate regulatory, compliance and other external requirements (e.g. GS1) related to data standards.
Responsible for Meta Data Management and for creating a data catalogue.
Build a capability heatmap and roadmap to harmonize enterprise data across supply chain.
SME for Data Provisioning for Data Lake, Data Analytics and Visualization services.
Provide training and coaching to other Supply Chain team members

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of previous related experience
Experience in business systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, DRP)
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel, Global Supply Chain, and relational databases systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Good project management skills
Business or related field experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry
Master Data Management experience
Additional Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
Ability to develop compliance processes and procedures
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines
Understanding of supply chain operations
Understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Leadership and talent development skills
Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects, and vendors/suppliers
Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
