Edwards Lifesciences Sr Analyst, Clinical Affairs (Partial Remote) - TMTT in Irvine, California

Support the execution of major initiatives within the TMTT Clinical Affairs organization by becoming a master of data and intelligence from across and external to the organization. In this role, you will leverage your analytic and programming proficiency to help organize information and intelligence across multiple clinical trials. You’ll develop a deep understanding of the complex cross-functional infrastructure required to conduct these studies and in so doing, you will directly influence how fast TMTT’s ground-breaking new therapies to treat mitral and tricuspid valve disease can be offered to broader groups of patients by helping to accelerate the execution and completion of these trials and thus their commercial approval.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate and maintain key information about clinical trial sites from a variety of internal and external data and intelligence sources, across all studies, and developing both backend relational systems to manage and analyze this data as well as user-friendly front end dashboards to display this site intelligence

  • Establish and maintain a system for documenting and archiving information and data related to prospective clinical trial sites under consideration

  • Develop and maintain the Microsoft Teams page for the Clinical Therapy Development team, employing creative ways and best practices to maintain and present critical information and enable collaboration within and across other project teams

  • Perform ad hoc numeric and attribute-based analyses, presenting data/results in visually appealing and easy-to-understand layouts and formats.

  • Investigate, assess, and interpret data to enable strategic decision making to support business objectives.

  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement by proposing and recommending improved systems, processes, and methodologies. In areas such as site selection, activation tracking, patient screening, etc.)

  • Create reports and dashboards to summarize complex and interdependent data across clinical affairs projects, programs and/or initiatives.

  • Accommodate and collaborate effectively with varying levels of technical proficiency in all dealings with team and cross-functional partners.

  • Hybrid split of onsite/remote work is permitted.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 years work experience working with data and creation of PowerPoint presentations

  • Expert level Excel user with strong proficiency setting up relational style data tables, developing complex/advanced nested formulas, and working with pivot tables.

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following computing languages with a desire to learn and regularly use others as-needed: M Code (PowerQuery), Power BI/DAX, VBA, Python

  • Highly effective at distilling analyses into concise and informative PowerPoint slides

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the medical device industry
