Edwards Lifesciences Senior Supply Chain Analyst in Irvine, California

Assess and ensure the compliance of Edwards, its Vendors and entities of Edwards with all government import or export laws within assigned countries and regions.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide guidance to departments (such as, clinical, sales, marketing, legal, etc.) across the entire supply chain continuum (e.g., plan, source, make and deliver) seeking to manage product flow including issues with increased complexity and with higher level of autonomy • Assess more strategic global vendors to ensure cost, quality, delivery, technical, and service capabilities to meet Edwards requirements; identify and resolve challenging supply chain issues • Develop and perform detailed and complex analysis to improve supply chain operations • Develop and lead the execution of complex supply chain related projects (e.g., NPD introductions) • Create and maintain processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions • Provide training and coaching to other Supply Chain team members • Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business or related field (preferred), 5 years experience Related experience Required Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry Preferred

Additional Skills: • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., SQMS, JDE, JDA) required • Good project management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry • Advanced problem-solving skills • Strict attention to detail • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment • Leadership, talent development and communication skills • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects, and vendors/suppliers • Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry preferred • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
