Edwards Lifesciences Senior Specialist, Digital and Social Media Planner in Irvine, California
The Sr Specialist, Digital Media Planner, will consolidate, control, and manage content execution, social media responses, and the social community being created as part of the marketing plans for the Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) marketing team.
Manage, continuously evaluate, propose alternative solutions for the optimization of digital media channels including social and search, and other identified media channels as required to align with the marketing plan
Manage budgets, including development of buy specs, campaign pacing, and reconciliation including keeping flowcharts documentation updated with accurate spend and delivery
Provide digital guidance and present recommendations to project and campaign leads including cross-functional teams to lead the implementations of solutions
Create, deliver, and manage engaging content by owning the voice of Edwards BU brand on social channels
Daily social monitoring of all campaign accounts including directing responding to appropriate parties (e.g., Legal) in compliance with our reporting standards
Maintain and continuously update the social response directory across multiple audiences to allow for timely response to market changes
Craft monthly and post-campaign decks with reporting, analysis, and application of learnings including creating and document processes and procedures within digital media planning
Develop and foster strong and effective relationships with cross-functional teams and media partners
Review industry trends and creative work by other advertisers to spark innovation
Keep up-to-date on industry trends and media landscape
Investigate and utilize information from syndicated research sources

Bachelor's degree required
5 years digital media planning required
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with proficiency with standard online media research and other media tools (e.g., planning tools, including Prisma, ComScore, DoubleClick)
Experience with social enterprise software systems (e.g., Hootsuite) preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to work closely/build relationships with cross-functional teams
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to digital media planning
Full understanding of online media planning, implementation and optimization, across various digital channels and tactics, including social and search
Ability to analyze metrics efficiently and provide insightful campaign effectiveness reports to clients
Ability to effectively multitask, juggling various projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organization
