Edwards Lifesciences Senior Product Manager in Irvine, California
The Senior Product Manager, THV Program Optimization is a unique position within the Edwards Lifesciences’ organization. This newly created role will be responsible for creation and execution of programs that improve the treatment path for patients to receive TAVI and customize existing programs for markets outside the US. This person will work closely with regional counterparts, product marketing and the commercial organization to ensure success.
Lead and develop the international strategy for optimization programs for the Edwards TAVR portfolio in international markets with an initial focus in Japan.
Establish methodology to assess market readiness and prioritization of target markets for implementation
Engage and collaborate with varying levels of HCPs in the hospital setting for program execution
Lead the customization of the optimization program for global markets with full regional collaboration
Partner closely with cross functional teams, including sales, compliance, legal, regulatory, corporate branding, and regional marketing counterparts
Work with internal/external stakeholders to design program and training materials in print and digital formats
Recommend and measure the effectiveness of optimization programs through the collection, analysis, reporting and utilization of feedback
Identify gaps in optimization in different regions and build, with professional education, additional programs aimed at improving the path to treatment and the TAVR procedure
Bachelor Degree or relevant degree
Min 10 yrs industry experience working in/or with clients in the pharma, medical devices, or healthcare.
Clinical experience in the cardiology space is preferred
Knowledge of and experience working with/in China and Japan launching therapies is preferred
Possess a strong understanding of patient access and treatment model workflows
Travel requirements: Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%

Ability to understand, interpret and manage clinical data from both presentations and publications
Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders through utilization of organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade others of the course of action
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership
Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, and multi-functional partners
Strong individual contributor. Speaks up when important information or questions must be raised and takes action when issues must be addressed
Creative out of the box thinker who is intellectually curious
Clinical background in the TAVI/TAVR space highly appreciated
Green belt or process improvement experience would be beneficial
