Edwards Lifesciences Senior Analyst, Supply Chain – Supply Planning in Irvine, California

Edwards Lifesciences has a new Senior Analyst, Supply Chain - Supply Planning opening supporting our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) team. The supply planner will be responsible for creating an MPS for multiple sites and for global inventory levels. We are looking for a collaborative teammate to join our fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead MPS monthly review

  • Partner with Irvine and Draper manufacturing teams to deliver optimal master plan

  • Forecast financial impact, including inventory and manufacturing standard hours, Excess and Obsolete.

  • Participate in long range capacity planning

  • Organize product launch and product exit planning

  • Proactively identify and resolve supply issues

  • Responsible for inventory management, assure adherence to planned levels and minimize excess & obsolete exposure (E&O).

  • Replenish regional inventory according to regional demand and inventory target

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years previous related experience, including 2 years in a manufacturing environment

  • JDE or similar ERP system experience is required.

  • JDA or similar advanced planning system experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical device or other regulated industry experience is a plus.

  • APICS and/or NAPM certification is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills

  • Ability to transfer essential knowledge and mentor other team members on specialized skills

Additional Skills:

  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite

  • Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards

  • Extensive understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment Represents leadership on sections of projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and cross functional teams

  • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
