Edwards Lifesciences Robotic Process Automation Manager in Irvine, California
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Manager will lead an internal and managed service team to deliver intelligent automation capabilities.
This role will have a matrixed technical team, working with end business users, overseeing robotics developers and collaborating with technical team to solidify technical requirements and implement solutions to support our RPA goals. A strong engineering background is required to effectively communicate and work with a technical team on a day-to-day basis.
You will also work to define and support new intelligent automation capabilities as they are introduced in the marketplace. You will also support feasibility analysis and play a large role in influencing design strategies to achieve an optimal ecosystem.
Manage and oversee Overall delivery of robotic process automation capabilities as it aligns with business strategies, product vision and roadmap with assessing potential business processes and determining e feasibility for automation while identifying business outcomes that need to be achieved through automation. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department
Lead the implementation of design and coding best practices in addition to establishing code review processes to reduce technical debt. Identify risk, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolve issues, action item follow up in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams
Conduct Scoping engagements, managing stakeholders expectations, coaching team-members and ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives utilizing by having a deep understanding of application and platform architectures to rationalize business use cases
Develop QA testing best practices and establish processes to validate automation code
Engage in incident management and resolve technical issues related to business service impact events.disruptions efficiently while anticipating future incidents
Conduct research to gain a deep understanding of the RPA industry trends and best practices and recommend solutions that meet business needs.
Identify new features needed for the platform and build internal product roadmap aligned with business needs in partnership with product vendor to support upgrades
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or IT related field
Ten years (or eight years with a Master's) of technical product management experience
People management experience
Experience in Robotics Process Automation Products, UI Path, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism
Minimum of five years experience in programming and/or QA Automation
Experience in SDLC and solutions design
Certification in industry leading Artificial Intelligence Products
Certification in Technical Architecture design
Certification in industry leading Robotics Process Automation Products, UI Path, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism
Experience working in a regulated industry
Prior RPA eExperience in UI Path highly preferred (e.g..,Alternate experiences for consideration includes exposure on other RPA products such as Blue Prism, Workfusion, Automation Anywhere, Pega, Kofax or similar products)
Technology development experience on major technologies and platforms such as .Net, APIWeb Services, AWS, Azure
Exposure to delivering in both Agile and Waterfall methodology
Process documentation and/or process training experience
