Edwards Lifesciences Mgr, Sales Strategy & Ops in Irvine, California
The Edwards Lifesciences Critical Care organization is seeking a Manager, Sales Strategy and Analytics to partner with the U.S. Commercial organization to identify impactful program and process opportunities in support of continued revenue growth. This role will lead a team that drives the strategy and execution of our Salesforce.com platform, business reporting, systems administration and data management, and pricing strategy analysis. Additionally, this role will require extensive collaboration across the organization as well as strong capabilities and desire to lead or influence highly visible projects.
Partner closely with the Manager, Sales Incentives in providing insights to the field sales team for targeting revenue growth opportunities that align with the Critical Care sales strategy
Work directly with leadership and colleagues to develop strategic and tactical business plans cross-functionally that drive business growth
Develop meaningful presentations of data and analyses to communicate projections, results, recommendations and insights to management
Lead ad hoc projects that have measurable impact on the business through cross-functional collaboration with functions such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, and IT
Coach and mentor team members in a team-based structure across multiple areas of commercial operations
A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a quantitative field, e.g. Finance, Economics, Math
MBA and or professional designations, e.g. CFA, CMA, or CPA highly desirable
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with business planning and analytics preferred in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare related industry.
Minimum of 3 years direct people management experience
Extensive knowledge and expertise in Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations with prior medical device pricing and contracting experience preferred.
Extensive understanding of data flow between data systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal work direction
Hands-on experience in modeling and scenario planning
Proven track record to build consensus across various functions on innovative ideas
Preference for a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Highly adaptable and flexible
