Edwards Lifesciences Manager, Organizational Change Management in Irvine, California

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Manager, Organizational Change Management, to provide OCM leadership and capabilities to large-scale HR programs. In this role you will maximizing employee adoption of organizational changes, while minimizing resistance. You will support critical Human Resources programs by leading the planning, analysis, and execution of Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies. This role will lead change management efforts including leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, business readiness, training, and communication. These efforts will support Human Resource transformation projects and ongoing business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong OCM skills, executive presence, high emotional intelligence, a broad understanding of HR programs, and a strong desire to have a long-term corporate impact within a rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead change management for large projects and activities with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables. Provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute tactical projects, process improvements, and/or programs

  • Provide Organizational Change Management input on high-impact transformational initiatives affecting larger employee base, multiple business units and/or functions, with focus on the people impact to ensure ROI on significant initiatives

  • Perform OCM analysis and provide guidance to business partners including obtaining alignment from stakeholders relating to organizational decisions

  • Develop OCM strategies for business initiatives that may have global or regional impact

  • Influence and provide guidance to key stakeholders to ensure effective organizational transitions and to build change management knowledge and capabilities across the company

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10+ years of experience in OCM supporting enterprise-wide projects, including exposure to multi-national, matrixed and/or cross-functional projects

  • Proven success developing targeted written communications to support the OCM strategy

  • Proven success utilizing an Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodology and tools (e.g. Prosci ADKAR) to successfully execute an OCM strategy for major organizational changes

  • Proven success in managing two or more concurrent projects and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree; 8+ years of experience stated above is required with a Master’s degree

  • Change Management certification

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and lead through influence

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills

  • Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
