Edwards Lifesciences Manager, HR Communications in Irvine, California

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Manager, HR Communications, to help share the many ways the company values our employees; span the breadth of HR programs and initiatives including talent management, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation, and diversity and inclusion. Reporting to the Lead, HR Communications, this role will support all HR communications and related events.

The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills, executive presence, high emotional intelligence, a broad understanding of HR programs, and a strong desire to have a long-term corporate impact within a rapidly growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build productive, trusting relationships with the HR Leadership Team, providing thoughtful, strategic communications counsel and support to HR leaders.

  • Ensure close partnership and alignment with the HR Centers of Expertise and partner with Centers of Expertise to support and enhance their communication efforts.

  • Support the delivery of all change management and communications activities, including communication plans, communications content, and adoption efforts for large-scale HR projects and initiatives, helping inform the direction of the Project Management Resource team’s strategy and activities

  • Work in partnership with the Lead, HR Strategic Communications to establish the voice of HR through the HR Communication Framework

  • Lead the development and execution of internal or external communications activities including high-quality written, web, video and audio collateral (e.g., presentations, messaging, talking points, Q&A, podcasts, video scripts)

  • In partnership with the Lead, HR Strategic Communications, help shape and drive the HR Communication Framework and Strategy

  • Plan and execute highly visible employee events (e.g., Global HR Summit, Extended HR Leadership Team Meeting, HRLT Strategy Sessions)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, etc.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic communications in Human Resources and Marketing.

  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Capable storyteller and compelling communicator

  • Experience as part of a thriving virtual team

  • Excellent communication and verbal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consulting experience with a large firm.
