Edwards Lifesciences Intern, Statistical Programmer in Irvine, California

The goal of this internship is to implement their programming skills to work on data dashboards and data analysis validation. The intern will apply their programming techniques to building data review dashboards and data analysis in the medical device field. The intern is required to have strong experience in computer programming analysis software skills such as Python, R, and/or SAS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree candidate in data science, statistics and mathematics

  • Experience in programming and data analysis

  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently under general guidance

  • Internship applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program for the entire duration of their internship. Upon graduating, students are no longer eligible for an internship at Edwards.

  • Availability for an assignment for a minimum of 10 weeks.

  • Must be in good scholastic standing (3.0+ GPA or equivalent).

  • Must not require company sponsorship for employment-based visa now or in the future.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong hands on experience with standard statistical software as Python, SAS, R
