This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources Team and be the administrative partner to the Corporate Vice President, Global Human Resources.
o Manage CVP’s time including schedules and calendar to optimize and prioritize meetings, time, and logistics, with attention to accuracy and detail on confidential information with utmost discretion.
o Ensure the preparation of confidential information, documents, and logistics for various HR and Executive Leadership Team meetings.
o Plan and execute meetings and events independently.
o Support and proof read communication on behalf of the CVP.
o Perform complex administrative activities including special projects, screening and directing confidential phone calls as well as negotiating CVP's commitments, representing the CVP to internal and external visitors, and composing CVP draft responses to correspondence and requests, with little to no direction.
o Greet and engage internal and external visitors, including providing necessary preliminary information and ensuring professional interaction at all times.
o Coordinate confidential interviews and schedules for high visibility positions.
o Schedule complex domestic and international travel in compliance with existing policies and procedures to optimize use of Executive's time and schedule.
o Serve as a mentor and coach to other executive administrators.
o High school diploma or equivalent
o A minimum of 8 years of executive administrative support experience.
o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
o Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion.
o Excellent professional written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to effectively represent the CVP internally and externally, and proven success in establishing and maintaining high-level organizational support.
o Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate alternatives and solutions independently.
o Exceptional attention to detail and proof reading.
o Advanced ability to manage complex travel arrangements in keeping with overall time commitments and in support of optimizing time management.
o Ability to be flexible with work schedule; may involve variable daily schedule; occasionally working weekends and/or evenings.
o Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
o Bachelor’s Degree
o Trusted resource and ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment; comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities.
o Ability to interact professionally with all internal and external contacts, with focus on executive leadership, senior-level external contacts, including board members; build and maintain strong relationships across the organization to influence and achieve objectives.
o Quick learner of Edwards’ policies, procedures, and administrative requirements with the ability to appropriately interpret and apply them to situations.
