Edwards Lifesciences Associate Manager, Finance in Irvine, California

Summary:

To continue to provide timely and quality analytical support to the Critical Care business, we are seeking an Associate Manager, within the Critical Care Finance team in Irvine. This position will be an integral member supporting financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities. The position will be an effective business partner as well as a key contributor and a leader of cross functional projects that drive business results. A successful candidate will also demonstrate a high level of interest in learning about Critical Care business strategy and products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Critical Care Global and US Sales and Marketing leaders in preparation of AOP and forecasts, inclusive of expense, capital, headcount planning

  • Analyze and report global sales results for quarterly Earnings preparation process

  • Provide management decision support through ad hoc reporting and analysis

  • Develop meaningful presentations of financial data and analyses to communicate financial results, recommendations and insights to management

  • Provide new product monthly reporting, KOD tracking reports, and other ad hoc reports to support management reporting

  • Perform month-end and quarterly accounting activities

  • Analyze period variances of actual results to budgets/forecasts and report performance to department managers and functional leaders

Required Experience / Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.

  • Minimum of eight years of Accounting/Finance experience (or six years with a Masters)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, CPA, CMA
