Edwards Lifesciences Associate Manager, Finance (Cost Accounting/ CapEx) in Irvine, California

Associate Manager, Finance – within the Critical Care Operations Finance team in Irvine. This will be a key position supporting Critical Care Network and the CAPEX planning for Global Supply Chain.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive completion of Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and Forecasting for Critical Care Balloon Operations

  • Facilitate and present Forecasting and Reporting of CC Value Improvement Projects in collaboration with the plants and PMO teams.

  • Manage CC Planning templates and Teams site for submission from the plants

  • Deliver Month-end Close and Reporting for CC Manufacturing Support cost centers

  • Coordinate GSC and CC CAPEX planning, forecasting and reporting including preparing presentations for the Leadership reviews

  • Continue to drive process improvement and ensure consistency across the Plants and the Network

  • Participate in Finance and GSC cost improvement and transformation projects

Required Experience / Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.

  • Minimum of eight years of Accounting/Finance experience (or six years with a Master’s degree)

  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Cost Accounting or manufacturing experience

  • Experience in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel with ability to create models

  • Experience with HFM, JDE and Oracle Planning
