Edwards Lifesciences Analyst, Supply Chain (Production Planner) in Irvine, California
Located in Irvine as part of the TMTT Supply Chain team, the Supply Chain Analyst will perform demand planning, procurement of raw material, report creation and development, manage the general inventory position of various products, supporting operational supply chain management activities and obsolescence risks in a dynamic and fast growing product portfolio.
Major Job Functions:
Perform demand planning analysis for all TMTT programs
Procurement of raw material to support TMTT product lines
Continuously monitor inventory coverage to achieve target levels and minimize and early detect shortages. Follow up and action when needed.
When inventory position requires, approve and follow up on all affected product movements in distribution network
Management and monitoring of inventory dispositions, execute discards, returns to vendor and inventory sanity checks
Monthly review of inventory position and associated risk and reporting
Identify & support action plans to minimize Excess & Obsolete Inventory
Management of shelf life extension with quality department when required
Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize supply chain and implement ideas
Bachelor’s degree in business studies / engineering / science, preferably and / or relevant logistics background and 3 years of experience
Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory projection
Experience working in ERP systems, preferable JDE a plus
Advanced skills in data analysis utilizing MS Excel, QlikView experience is an asset
Capability to work independently and in a geographically dispersed team
