Edwards Lifesciences Analyst, Process Optimization in Irvine, California
Assess and ensure the compliance of Edwards, its Vendors and entities of Edwards with all government import or export laws within assigned countries and regions.
Perform detailed and complex analysis to improve supply chain operations
Create and maintain processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions
Process ePAC requests and implement in JDE to enable product launches
Contribute to the execution of complex supply chain related projects (e.g., NPD introductions)
Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership
Must have a Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of three years of system administration or business analysis experience.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g, SQMS, JDE, JDA) preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, representing the organization on specific projects, and vendors/suppliers
Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
