Edwards Lifesciences Territory Manager Paris Transcatheter Heart Valve in Guyancourt, France

Under the supervision of the Field Regional Manger, the Territory Manager will create and

develop THV market in Paris . He/ She will have to achieve the sales target

accordingly.

  • ​Acquire a thorough working knowledge of the products/therapies and procedure, develop an extensive understanding of all their applications

  • Establish customer contact and strengthen relationships to create and protect THV business

  • Drive penetration of THV products in the given territory, give Edwards THV a face in the market

  • Create new business with new customers

  • Coordinate the activities from site selection to independence (identify site’s team, coordinate training and proctoring) working closely with the Education team and according to the Sales & Education strategy

  • Present the patient selection to both Cardiologists and Surgeons - suitability for a Transcatheter Heart Valve transapical and transfemoral

  • Be responsible for achieving sales’target

  • Monitor sales activity, plan and prepare forecasts by account, product and therapy for the given territory as well as propose expenses for meetings and/or customer activities including Proctor visits

  • Make sure customer records are up to date and contain full information on names, initials and positions of all contacts, best day and times to call on each contact, name of secretary,…

  • Execute the Edwards marketing and product launch strategy

  • Follow up on independent implants by providing results, success rate, number and type of implants at the end of every month (shared responsibility with CS)

  • Be responsible for inventory management (ordering, shipment, swap & scrap,)

  • Ensure to report all products and procedures complaints to the local Quality & Regulatory departments within 24hours – compliance management

Required Education/Skills/Experience:

  1. Preferably educated to degree level (MBA, Masters)

  2. Good level of clinical skills

  3. Talented selling skills and business acumen

  4. Leadership – good capabilities to drive customers

  5. Strong communicator and creative individual

  6. Passion and strong motivation

  7. Excellent planning and organization skills

  8. Flexible person and able to travel extensively

  9. Able to adapt easily to different customers and different business strategies

  10. Independent and team work

  11. Fluent in English and the given territory local language

  12. Full clean drivers license

Required Experience

• Prior experience in sales in the medical field is needed

• Knowledge of the operating room or cath lab environment is a plus

• Established network in the interventional cardiology market is a strong advantage

• Previous experience in launching a new technology would be a real asset
