Edwards Lifesciences Territory Manager, North East, Surgical in Guyancourt, France

Under the direction of the Business Unit Manager, responsible for the achievement of the sales and profit objectives and product portfolio in the area North-East of France. Promote and establishes physician and account education of the company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell company's medical devices products by interacting with established customers (physicians, medical labs, hospitals) and develop prospects.

  • Maintain in-service of products; ensure customers preparation to use Edwards' products.

  • Educate physicians on physiological concepts and scientific data about Edwards products, through use of appropriate publications and marketing tools.

  • Collect and use data in CRM system as needed: competitor products and prices, specific customer activities, tenders, product launches.

  • Prepare and negotiate price offers. Tender and contracts in collaboration with Manager supervision.

  • Develop local strategies under manager supervision.

  • Monitor and administer area expense budgets to ensure control of costs.

  • Grants, Congress, Locals Meeting.

  • Stock, Consignment and Loan control.

  • Competitor and customer activities.

  • Collaborate and attend National and International Congress (booth installation, customer and staff meeting, social events).

  • Sales Monthly reports.

  • Proceed with the above tasks in compliance with local industry's rules and Edwards specific requirements for interactions with health care practitioners.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in Cardiovascular field, with the knowledge of the operating room environment

  • Profile with successful experience in sales, account management and negotiation will also be closely screened.

Additional Skills:

Bachelor degree required, with thorough medical knowledge

  • MBA or Master's degree preferred

  • Proficient with digital solutions: iPad, CRM tools such as salesforce at http://salesforce.com , Office Pack

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Team work with good interpersonal communication

  • Negotiation and selling skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Customer knowledge

  • Effective use of promotional materials
