Edwards Lifesciences Coord, Warehouse in Cartago, Costa Rica

Ensures proper handling of pick lists work orders, requisitions, materials movement, inventory accuracy, and transaction entries. Coordinates daily work activities in terms of warehouse material dispatching and/ or order processing in the shipping operation.

Key Responsibilities: • Monitor inventory levels and generate requisitions, receive raw materials in JDE and/or Maximo based on the purchasing priority list, notify finance of receipt of indirect materials for payment to vendors • Replenish inventory system levels and deliver between warehouse areas • Distribute and coordinate the work of shift teams, as well as oversee their execution of work activities by the team

Education and Experience: Associate's Degree or equivalent in or technical degree , 4 years’ years experience experience in material handling work in a warehouse, including inventory management practices, cycle count experience, and understanding and operation of warehouse equipment Required

Additional Skills: • Proven leadership and analytical skills to coordinate priorities and assign resources, required • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control • In-depth job knowledge to perform routine tasks and uses general instructions on new tasks and special assignments • Strong communication skills, e.g., providing work instructions, using tact and diplomacy to resolve disputes • Able to read, comprehend, speak, and write English, and perform good mathematical skills
