Edwards Lifesciences Senior Analyst Accounting - FP&A in Brussels, Belgium
Role Purpose:
Overall purpose of this role is to provide Business Analytical Support in accounting field based on headquarters and local activities by performing given tasks and responsibilities.
Major Job Functions:
AOP and Forecast process:
Involvement in the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) & Forecast(Fcst) process with the finance manager and business
Develop visibility on actual expenses and future events cost with the Businesses
Help businesses to forecast AOP & Fcst Sales and OPEX
Review product line margins and cost during the AOP and during the year
Calculate and analyze net sales including bonus accruals and calculations
Follow up on contracts and prepare with Customer Service the credit notes
Loading accurate Fcst and AOP, reconciliation of the different tools, understand the figures and challenge inconsistencies
Business Analytical Support:
Analyze and interpret monthly financial results to identify financial issues and provide insights
Improve and maintain existing reports and analyze them on Customer / Business Unit Level
Develop and introduce of value-added reporting, e.g. customer, trends, pricing, margin, etc.
Control and develop OPEX analysis and provide analytical support during the monthly review
Grants expenses control
Health Care Professionals expenses analysis
Required education/skills/experience
Bachelor´s in Finance, Accounting or related areas
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial position, e.g. Accounting, Controlling, including FP&A
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
Dutch and/or French is a huge advantage, at least one is a must
Accounting analyst or controlling background including FP&A experience mandatory
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint,
ERP Systems, Database knowledge is a plus
Strong analytical skills
Able to work independently in a fast developing and demanding environment
