Edwards Lifesciences Staff Business Systems Analyst in Breda, Netherlands

The Staff Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for supporting, enhancing, implementation, system maintenance for technology projects specifically related to Edwards’ distribution, transportation, warehousing, and labeling systems across the organization globally. The Staff BSA will be accountable for architecting and implementing solutions that improve business process efficiencies and accuracy for distribution, transportation, warehousing, and labeling. The Staff BSA should have domain expertise to advise the business unit on best practices, processes and system improvements for distribution, transportation, warehousing, and labeling. The Staff BSA will report to the Global IT team and will be closely aligned with Global Supply Chain in supporting its members, collaborating closely with both groups to successfully deliver results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to reengineer business process to optimize distribution, transportation, warehousing, labeling, and end-to-end packaging processes and systems

  • Lead the adoption of Logistics systems such as mobile applications, TMS/WMS systems, freight auditing systems, integration of track and trace tools, automatization systems (i.e. kitting lines and packaging), distribution control tower systems, and capacity planning systems.

  • Lead the integration of EDI systems/interfaces and BI Reporting/Dashboard development.

  • Lead, identify, design and implement enabling information systems with a strong bias to configuration of commercially available off the shelf systems

  • Lead and/or manage medium to large sized projects / enhancements (including asset management, shop floor, labeling, packaging, warehousing, and RFID)

  • Empower users and super-users (by training and performing knowledge transfer) to leverage IT systems for business process automation and optimization

  • Serve as liaison between business process owners in 3PL organizations, Global Supply Chain, and IT

  • Work with stakeholders in developing ROI based business cases for enhancements and small projects

  • Up to 25% international and domestic travel required

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • MBA or a Master's degree in computer science or related field is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a Business Systems Analysis role interfacing with multiple functional groups and stakeholders.

  • Experience with JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Distribution required, Camstar MES and Maximo Asset Management Preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise information systems such as ERP (such as JDE, SAP), PLM (Siemens TeamCenter, Agile), MES (such as CAMSTAR or APRISO), Content Management Systems (such as SDL, Vasont), enterprise mobile applications, Transportation Management Systems (Oracle, BlueYonder/JDA), Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle/JDE, BlueYonder/JDA) required

  • Experience with Loftware, Pragmatyxs, Seagull Scientific / Bartender software and Zebra printers preferred

  • Extensive working experience of enterprise database structures and query languages such as Oracle and MSSQL

  • Experience with integrating multiple enterprise systems for real-time processing and transactions.

  • Green Belt Certification preferred

  • Prior experience working in complex global business environment with multi-language medical device distribution requirements

  • Experience working in an FDA regulated industry a plus

  • Prefer experience with FDA guidelines for Software Quality and Systems Validation is a plus

  • 25% international and domestic travel required
