Edwards Lifesciences Portfolio and Strategy Analyst in Auckland, New Zealand

Supports development of portfolio strategy from project inception through first commercial launch working with ANZ marketing teams and NZ Country Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-depth reviews and complex analysis of key strategic portfolio needs, including creating market models, assessing market opportunity, optimizing current business, and competitive landscape for development of a multi-year generational product and indication roadmap

• Develop presentations and tools to facilitate communication of portfolio roadmap to internal and external audiences

• Evaluate insights from competitive and market trend intelligence to provide recommendations to management for actionable insights

• Research and analyze market trends and integrate findings into the annual portfolio planning process, which establishes the portfolio imperatives for the organization

• Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional team

• Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree 3 years years experience of work experience Required

Experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry Preferred

Additional Skills:

• Proven expertise in MS Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills

• Substantial understanding in tracking and interpreting market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics

• Ability to create market models to forecast future product revenue

• Ability to recommend paths forward to manage risk

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work in a team environment, working closely with global marketing team, PMO, finance and functional partners

• Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations

• Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
